A lot of my original characters from my early writing were inspired by the broody Angel, reblious Spike, femme fatale Darla, and the mad Drusilla. I was enamored with Joss Whedon's ability to take wit, sarcasam, and symbolism and turn it into what we know to be Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I was inspired to write about vampires after a certain perky blonde former cheerleader cartwheeled her way on to the WB and fought hard to see them slayed. I've always loved vampires and I'm proud to be a part of this amazing genre.
